Our History
B.T Promotions UK has been trading since 1992 and in that time the reputation, variety, and coverage of the company has grown steadily, encompassing many aspects of the entertainment and wedding world.
The company has and does supply entertainment to many of the major operators and breweries in the U.K. We are resident in 19 hotels and have 48 DJs with our company, all whom we know personally and vet accordingly to ensure quality in service. We have residencies in the Coventry Building Society Arena, Leicester City Football Club, and supply for many UK Wide venues and touring production companies with Tech and DJ Support.
In 2007 we secured the contract for entertainment at the then Ricoh Arena in Coventry, and have maintained this relationship throughout, providing Christmas Parties, Corporate Clients and Major Concert Support such as Bon Jovi, Spice Girls and Rammstein. We also supply for other national major chains such as The Doubletree by Hilton, Holiday Inn, Mercure Group, Stonegate and are also Event UK registered, being a preferred supplier for many of their UK wide pubs and bars for Live Entertainment.
We are a key supplier for many promoters and venues across the UK, with our services extending from a simple DJ booking to a full production show.
Our Wedding business encompasses The One Stop Wedding Shop – Midlands and we can supply all corners of requirements for your special day, from DJs to Decor – we have it covered! We have also supplied Disc Jockeys to Maritime and Carnival Cruises over the years and we supply DJ’s and Live Acts to various bars and clubs in Majorca annually and are contracted to do so each season.
We are also the creators of The Big Quiz Company – Coventry, which is proudly Coventry’s biggest quizzing network! In 2019 we decided it was time to officially name our highly popular quizzes with a “brand”, which was the birth of The Big Quiz Company – Coventry. We have provided many bar, pub and venue across the UK with Quizzing provisions since our formation, with some of our venues stretching well over 10 years service. We are flexible with traditional format and SpeedQuizzing elements – and have a wide range of themed quizzes from Friends to Harry Potter and UK Sitcoms – we can cater for all ages and demographs.
We also host 2 Big Quiz events per year, where we nominate 2 charities to benefit from all of the funds raised, usually local but sometimes we have nominated national charities such as MIND, Macmillan and Cats Protection. Other charities include Zoes Place, The Lily Mae Foundation, Archies Smile and local Foodbanks.
